The short version

We collect the information you give us through our contact form, lead-magnet form, or CleanPrep orders — typically your name, email, phone, and what you wrote in the message. We use it to reply to you and (if you opt in) send you the occasional update. We don't sell it. We don't share it with advertisers. You can ask us to delete it anytime.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to ATeam Fitness ("we," "us," "our"), operated by Alex Melo, with a studio at 4957 S Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066. We also operate CleanPrep, our meal-prep service. References to "our services" cover both.

What information we collect

Information you give us directly

Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), interest/service, message content.
Lead-magnet form: first name, email.
CleanPrep orders: name, email, phone, delivery address, preferred delivery date, dietary notes, order details.
Email or WhatsApp inquiries: whatever information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically

Standard server logs: our hosting provider records standard web traffic data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance.
Analytics: we may use Google Analytics 4 or similar privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are viewed. This includes anonymized usage data.
Advertising pixels: we may install pixels (such as Meta Pixel) for future marketing campaigns. These allow us to retarget visitors with ads on third-party platforms.

How we use your information

To reply to your inquiry or fulfill your order.
To send you the resource you requested (e.g., the Train Smart, Eat Better PDF).
To send occasional updates about our services, content, or offers — only if you've opted in. You can unsubscribe anytime.
To improve the website and our services.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers that help us operate the site and respond to you. Examples: Netlify (form submissions and hosting), Google (Fonts loading), and our email provider.
Law enforcement if legally required (subpoena, court order, etc.).
A successor entity in the event of a business sale or transfer.

Data retention

We retain your information as long as your relationship with us remains active (e.g., you're a current or prospective client). If you've simply downloaded a guide or submitted an inquiry that didn't lead to ongoing engagement, we typically retain it for up to 24 months and then delete it. You can request earlier deletion anytime.

Security

We use industry-standard service providers (Netlify, Google) and reasonable measures to protect your information. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we work to minimize risk.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
